Our natural leathers are treated with a minimal amount of chemicals giving a very natural and soft feel to our shoes. For cleaning use a soft water-dampened cloth with neutral soap. Avoid contact with chemicals, oils, fats, detergents or harsh soaps as they may stain the leather. Allow shoes to dry at room temperature away from localised heat.
Apply a good quality leather cream or polish when dry to ensure the continued suppleness and appearance of your shoes. Try to change your shoes at least every two days enabling them to rest and disperse the moisture absorbed from your feet.
We recommend applying a protector on these materials before wear. Using a suede brush will help to clean dry surface dirt and keep the leather looking new. If dirty, use a nubuck spray and follow the manufacturer’s directions. Always allow shoes to dry at room temperature away from localised heat.
This type of leather shows natural marks found on Brazilian bovine leathers. It is recommended to follow these care instructions as waxy leathers - if not cared for - can look worn very quickly.
To care for your new shoes simply apply a special product designed for waxy leathers using a soft cloth. These products may alter the colour of your shoes so we advise you to test the product on small, hidden area first. We recommend you to follow the manufacturer’s directions.
